Put down the phone and get on the trail this October!

Boo’s been scouring the October calendar for Parent-worthy events… here’s our highlights:

  • This Week – Check the IHS Weekly Bulletin for sports and A/B day details.  The skies should dry as the Highlanders host soccer, tennis and volleyball matches this week.
  • Oct 7-11 Break – Our crisp cold snap should will bring early fall colors – hit the trails.  College bound students will want to build in some time to practice for next week’s PSAT
  • Wed Oct 16 – PSAT test starts at 8AM… get a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast.  The Boosters general meeting takes place at noon.  Diamond Peak’s Winter Job Fair runs from 3:30 – 5:30 – great jobs and benefits for your kids.
  • Fri Oct 18 – Crank it up to 11 Friday afternoon as the girls’ soccer and volleyball teams host games starting at 4PM.  Our footballers crushed the spread against repeat state champs Pershing County last week.  They return to face an even contest against White Pine at 7PM… bring a blanket and join the fun.  Lend a hand at the Gate or Concessions if you can.  Boo Food tip: bacon-wrapped hot dogs – yum!
