New Class Offered this Year
Mr. Fairley’s new Anatomy class at Incline High School is bustling with activity as students in lab coats use new equipment purchased by the Boosters to learn about the nervous system, cardiovascular system, body systems, red blood cells, lymphatic system, urinary system, musculoskeletal system and more. Mr. Fairley made the request last year so he could be all set up for the 2022-23 school year. All summer long, supplies were delivered to the school so his classroom was well-stocked for the first week of school.
Mr Fairley commented, “The Boosters have been VERY supportive of the new anatomy class at IHS! Not only did they fund the purchase of a series of 3-D models of various body parts, but they also purchased a class set of “Mankens,” which will allow students to build their own muscular systems out of clay – kind of like a reverse dissection! With so many careers related to the human body, ranging from athletic trainers to brain surgeons, it is great to get this class going for the Highlanders!”
