Incline High School Families,

Congratulations to all our fall athletic programs for a wonderful season. Noah McMahon started off our fun-filled Friday morning by finishing in 1st place at our Boy’s Cross Country Regionals.  Both Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams finished in second place overall and will move on to STATE on Saturday 11/5 in Boulder City.  Our Boy’s Football Team pulled out a nail-biter of a win against crosstown rival North Lake Tahoe, fittingly on Nevada Day. Their come from behind effort, was topped off by a late interception by Tommy Williams sealing our victory, after an impressive day on both sides of the football.  The Highlander Football Team will move on to the playoffs this Friday 11/4 at 7:00 p.m. in Yerington.  Our STELLAR Boys and Girls Soccer teams will move on to the playoffs this Friday. Boys will play at 9:00 a.m. and the Girls will play at 11:00 a.m., both matches will be at Tahoe Vista Park. Our resilient Lady Highlander Warrior Volleyball players will be playing on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at Yerington HS.

Come on out and support our Highlanders at one of these exciting events.  Purchase your tickets at NIAA.com or use the QR code on our IHShighlanders athletic page on Instagram.

Congratulations to our music program for a truly special concert last week.  We’d like to thank Mr. Brad Perry for his heroic act of shepherding our program this fall. We are tremendously grateful for all he’s done for our music program.

How To Keep Informed

COVID

Please continue to use the District’s COVID self-screener (the screening tool) every day before leaving for school and be vigilant about handwashing and other measures to keep yourself safe throughout the day.  This past week we had 0 positive COVID cases 😊.  Although we are no longer excluding students and adults who may have been in close contact with an individual having COVID, in a school setting exposure is always a possibility.  If you or your child is experiencing any symptoms outlined on the self-screener, please follow those directions closely.  Additional guidance regarding what to do if you are ill or if you have been in close contact can be found here (this webpage).
