🏅 Incline Boosters Club Impact: Track & Field Team Update 🏅
Dear Donors,
Your generous contributions have made a huge impact on the Incline High School Track & Field team last year! 💚💛 Thanks to the support from the Boosters, our athletes had brand new green and gold uniforms this past spring season, and they looked incredible as they competed at meets. 🏃♂️🏃♀️ Near the end of the season, we were also able to purchase new starting blocks, shot puts, and discus equipment, which have greatly improved training and meet experiences.
According to Coach Nugent, Track & Field requires significant private funding every year, as WCSD doesn’t cover regular season meet costs, which range from $150-$300 per meet. Last year, our team attended 12 meets last year. Also, for any meeting that we wish to attend in CA, WCSD does not provide a bus, and we are responsible for paying for a charter. Last year, we could only afford to do this once, as the charter bus cost our team $3,500. This really restricted which meets we could attend. The Boosters Crab Feed donations go a long way towards paying for all of our entry fees and hopefully allowing us to attend 1-2 high-level meets per/year in the Sacramento/Bay area.
Coach Nugent said, “The Boosters Donors funds is an invaluable resource for our IHS track team. Without their support, our team would struggle to exist and have the opportunities to compete at the best meets possible during the season.”
“This past season was a huge success, capped off by a tremendous showing at the 2A NIAA State Championship! Whether setting personal bests or representing our team at state, our athletes have thrived this season, and we are incredibly proud of them.”
“We enjoyed a tremendous 2A NIAA State Championship meet this past weekend. I’m proud of all of our athletes this year — whether they represented our team at state or simply set new personal best marks during the regular season. I loved coaching this team!”

“A big shoutout to our seniors from last year for an outstanding season and IHS career. We will miss their leadership, their dedication, and their constant effort and energy to get better each day. “
“Also, a big thank you to Coach Snearly and Coach McMahan. I feel very blessed to start my IHS coaching career with these two amazing leaders. Their passion for this team and for preparing our athletes each day was unwavering all season long. We were also very lucky to have Coach Andrea Gitchell volunteer her time with the throwers. Her expertise was invaluable. “
Thank You Donors!
We are so grateful to our donors for their continued support and investment in our school and our students’ education. Your generosity is making a real difference in the lives of these young learners.
