Incline Boosters Board Structure & Roles
The Incline Boosters Club thrives because of dedicated volunteers like you. Whether you’re interested in leading, organizing, or helping behind the scenes, there’s a role for everyone.
- Our board is comprised of Officers and Board Members.
- Officers make up the core voting board, responsible for oversight and direction.
- Additional voting members may be appointed beyond the Officers.
- Board Members contribute significantly through event planning, fundraising, communication, and more. While they may not vote on every matter, their input helps shape everything we do.
- Some individuals may serve in more than one role.
Below is a breakdown of each position:
Officers (Voting Board)
President
- Runs monthly board meetings
- Acts as the main liaison with school administration
- Delegates leadership of programs and initiatives
- Recruits new members to the board
Vice President 1
- Assists the President
- Oversees all fundraising-related groups and activities
- Helps with initiatives
Vice President 2
- Assists the President
- Oversees membership recruitment and hospitality efforts
- Helps with initiatives
Treasurer
- Manages Booster Club finances and bank accounts
- Creates and monitors the annual budget
- Oversees and tracks fundraising revenue
- Maintains accurate financial records
- Produces monthly financial reports
- Coordinates with tax accountant and ensures regulatory compliance
Secretary
- Keeps accurate minutes of all meetings
- Maintains a calendar of events and deadlines
- Sends monthly reminders and updates to the board
Board Members
Bookkeeping Support
- Assists the Treasurer
Communications
- Manages social media
- Updates and maintains the Boosters website
Crab Feed Chair
- Leads planning for the annual Crab Feed fundraiser
- Coordinates with the event planning company and committee
- Secures venue, auctioneer, and sponsors
- Oversees event promotions, budget, and communications
- Manages day-of logistics and online auction software
Grade Parent Representatives (One per grade)
- Serves as the liaison between the board and parents of a specific grade
- Shares information, events, and volunteer needs
- Assists with event staffing
Graduation Chair
- Coordinates the graduation reception
- Recruits volunteers for set-up, service, and clean-up
- Coordinates with school staff and manages food, drinks, and décor
Gym Banner Sponsorships
- Manages banner sponsorship program
- Renews existing sponsors and sells new banners
- Orders banners and coordinates hanging with school
Hospitality
- Organizes volunteers for hospitality-related needs
- Sets up refreshments and tables at events
Membership
- Recruits new Booster Club members
- Maintains the membership list
- Communicates with members throughout the year
Merchandise
- Purchases Incline High School branded gear
- Manages inventory and merchandise budget
- Sells merchandise at events
Project Managers (3)
Organize major initiatives that the board takes on from start to finish. They can have a committee of helpers. An example initiative is the College ACT Test Prep Program that the Boosters manages. Some of these projects require work over the summer to be ready for the new school year.
Purchasing
- Purchases items for staff and programs as approved by the board
Student Engagement
- Partners with student leadership to support student-led initiatives
- Helps organize student engagement events
- Coordinates volunteers for student events
Teacher Appreciation
- Plans and organizes appreciation events for teachers and staff
- Coordinates meal delivery and gift cards using donated funds
Theater Seats Sponsorships
- Manages the sponsorship program for IHS theater seats
Volunteer Coordinator
- Volunteers at most events
- Helps recruit and organize volunteers across all Booster events
