Halloween Dress-Up Days

SAVE THE DATE: Dia de Los Muertos Celebration

November 1st @ 5:30-7:30 in the IHS Cafeteria
Delicious food and fun games for all!
$10 tickets include 2 tamales + chocolate caliente.
$5 Lottery tickets also include 2 game tickets.
$3 Pan de Muertos.

Red Ribbon Week

Last week was Red Ribbon Week® 2023 – this year’s theme is: Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free. Wear a Red Ribbon each day of the week beginning October 23rd as well as October 30th and 31st, The class with the highest percentage of ribbon wearers will receive a class meal provided by an outside vendor. Every day they wear a ribbon, your Highlander will receive a ticket to enter into the raffle to win an individual prize!

You may have heard from some of your students that they will be showing off work they are doing in some of their STEM classes. Come support our students and represent IHS efforts to be one of the few designated STEM schools in Nevada.
